His Table

This is our benevolence program focused on meeting physical needs while discipling the families we serve throughout the nations. These needs may include food, housing, education, medical care and job training. Discipleship truly is the heartbeat of this program. Our prayer is that as families’ physical needs are met, their hearts are open to see Jesus. Jesus is the one who sets His table and there is always enough at His table.

We currently sponsor two families in the nation of Nepal through weekly food, medical care, and education for four children. From this program, one of the families has started a weekly time of prayer in their home and the other family has accepted Jesus into the lives and have been baptized.

Missions

One Soma Global both hosts short-term mission teams and has long-term missionaries living on the ground in other nations. Our prayer is not just for our missionaries to be impactful, but for them to passionately love Jesus and encounter Him while serving in the nations. We know this is only possible when our missionaries understand that ministering to Him is their first calling. We trust that if we keep the First Commandment first in our hearts, the Great Commission simply becomes our nature.

Short-Term Trips

Our short-term trips are open to anyone who loves Jesus and will follow Him into the nations. During a trip, missionaries can expect to spend the first two to three days collectively seeking His presence with the One Soma team and aligning their hearts to the Great Commandment before being commissioned out  alongside our team and our national partners in evangelism, discipleship training, home fellowships, and other outreaches depending on the time of year. This past year, one of our teams were part of hosting a 30 day, discipleship training, devoted to simply coming to know the person of Jesus. We saw many commissioned into evangelism, outreach, and deeper discipleship as a result. If you or your church are interested in attending a One Soma Global short-term trip, please email us at onesomaglobal@gmail.com.

Long-term Missionaries

The Weiss family were the first long-term missionaries to be commissioned out by One Soma Global in 2024. They are dedicated to seeking the face of Jesus and His presence in the nation of Nepal. It is our desire to see more long-term missionaries sent out with the same passion for His presence. We would love to discuss our long-term opportunities with anyone interested. Please email us at onesomaglobal@gmail.com

Impact 10

In 2018, we partnered with a local pastor in the nation of Nepal to build a children’s home that now houses 11 girls, many of whom had been left orphaned or were at risk of human trafficking. Through our monthly sponsorship program, these girls receive housing, food, clothing, medical care, education, family, and ultimately an opportunity to encounter Jesus. We have seen many of them give their lives to Jesus and encounter the power of the Holy Spirit.

Two of the first girls in our home will soon be finishing school. We are in prayerful consideration for their next steps, with regard to job training, higher education, and further discipleship opportunities. Please join us in praying for them and provision for their future.

The Landing

After a clear word from the Lord in 2022, our team purchased an approximately 9,000 square foot building in Durant, Oklahoma, with the long-term vision of seeing people commissioned into both local community outreach and global missions from this base. While the property still needs a lot of work to be fully operational, our team continues to stand and declare that this base will be a Landing Place for people to SEE JESUS and share Him with the world.

Seed Sowers

In 2020, God connected our team to Pastor Asa and his ministry, Seed Sowers in Uganda, Africa. Since this time, One Soma has partnered with Seed Sowers in numerous projects, including sowing into teachers’ salaries in a school focused on providing education for impoverished children, building proper restrooms in the school to ensure they stay operational, and working with Pastor Asa to provide ongoing-discipleship in his community.

We are excited about this partnership and to see Jesus lifted high in the nation of Uganda. We are looking for monthly partners who want to specifically sow into Pastor Asa’s school and the teachers’ salaries.
